Homemade, Flour Free, Chocolate, Pecan Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Raw Pecans
  • 1/3 cup Carob Powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda (aluminum free)
  • 1/4 tsp Redmond's Sea Salt
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Real Vanilla Extract

Equipment

  • Food Processer
  • 8x8 Baking Dish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8 X 8in glass baking sheet.
  2. Pour the pecans into a food processer and process until finely ground, but stop before they turn into nut butter.
  3. Add the rest of the dry ingredients, and then pulse to combine.
  4. Now add the wet ingredients and process until the batter is smooth. Some small chunks of pecan are fine.
  5. Pour into baking dish and spread out evenly .
  6. Put in oven and bake for 25min. or until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let sit for at least 20min. before serving.
